Logging into the Title Source 3

To log into the system, enter your ID and Password, as assigned by your System Administrator, and click the Login button or press the Enter key. ID's and passwords are not case sensitive.

Click the Anonymous Login link to log in without using an ID and password. (This feature will only work if your organization has been set up to allow anonymous login).

Screen Resolution

Title Source 3 is designed for a screen resolution of 1024 x 768. A resolution of 800 x 600 will work, but is not recommended because of an increased amount of scrolling.

Different monitors, screen resolutions, and browsers can produce different views of Web pages. You may need to experiment with different browsers and screen settings to find the one that works best for you.


Popup Windows

Title Source 3 application makes extensive use of popup windows to provide ancillary information without taking the user away from their current activity. If the browser is not set to enable popups for TS3 websites many of the functions may not be available.

To enable Popup Windows in Internet Explorer 6.0:

1. Click on the Tools menu.
2. Choose Pop-up Blocker.
3. Choose Pop-up Blocker Settings.
4. Add "*.informata.com" to the list of Allowed Sites.

To enable Popup Windows in Mozilla Firefox:

1. Click on the Tools menu.
2. Choose Options.
3. Select the Content tab.
4. Un-Check "Block Popup Windows . . . or
5. Check "Block Popup Windows and add "informata.com" to the list of allowed sites.

To enable Popup Windows in Netscape 7.2:

1. Click on the Tools menu
2. Choose Preferences
3. On the Preferences window, click on the Privacy and Security arrow.
4. Click on Popup Windows.
5. Un-Check "Block unrequested popup windows"
6. or if checked, add ".informata.com" to the list of Allowed Sites.


Cookies

A "Cookie" is a small piece of information, which a web server can store temporarily with your web browser. This is useful for having your browser remember some specific information, which the web server can later retrieve. In order to use the Title Source 3, Cookies have to be enabled on your browser.

To enable cookies in Internet Explorer 6.0:

1. Click on the Tools menu.
2. Choose Internet Options.
3. Select the Privacy tab.
4. Move the slider or change the Advanced... settings to Accept first-party cookies.

To enable cookies in Mozilla Firefox:

1. Click on the Tools menu.
2. Choose Options.
3. Select the Privacy tab.
4. Check "Allow sites to set Cookies" and Check "for the originating site only"

To enable cookies in Netscape 7.2:

1. Click on the Tools menu
2. Choose Preferences
3. On the Preferences window, click on the Privacy and Security arrow.
4. Click on Cookies.
5. Select the Enable All Cookies radio button.
6. Alternatively, edit the cookie settings and set up to Accept First Party Cookies for "Site has no privacy policy"


JavaScript

To view the application correctly, JavaScript should be enabled on your browser. To enable JavaScript in Netscape, click on Edit menu and choose Preferences. Make sure that the Enable JavaScript box is checked.
